Paugam Daniel
Self-taught, Daniel Paugam has been painting since he was 4-5 years old. He drew caricatures at the age of 6 and painted landscapes of the Bay of Morlaix at the age of 8. His parents gave him his first tubes of oil paint at the age of 12. Hence his first exhibition at the age of 14 in Morlaix. Then come exhibitions in Angers, Rostrenen, Pontivy, Carentec, Concarneau, Brest, Perros-Guirec and San Francisco.
His influences originate from the School of Pont-Aven (Gauguin, Sérusier) then Méheut for the figurative and Lapicque for the abstract-figurative. Finally, all the great moderns for pure abstract. After experiments in 2012-2013, the painter surfs on a completely new technique in abstraction and 3D.
The Artist defines himself as "A colorist of dance and life".
