My Universe

Contemporary Painting: a cosmos in motion. 

In "My Universe", Andrea Benetti composes a sky that appears to be in perpetual motion. Planets, celestial bodies, and orange stars intersect amidst a profusion of forms, as if the universe were taking shape before our eyes.

The relief adds a distinctive depth to this cosmic vision. Plaster is applied to the canvas and tinted with henna pigment, followed by a thin layer of resin and a finish combining oil and acrylic paint.

Hovering between abstraction and celestial landscape, the work transforms the cosmos into a living substance, alive with movement, contrast, and light.
