The artist was inspired by a news that seemed important and tragic at the same time: the decision in 2020 to reintroduce neonicotinoids in some farms, despite the proven dangers they represent for wildlife, including our dear bees.

We can thus see, through a wall that seems to be crumbling and collapsing, a symbol of our contemporary world, some bees that are rushing. One of them was struck by this sinister date, engraved in the stone as a testimony of the current disaster.

But let us always keep hope, that is what this sky lets us glimpse in the background.
